| Fire station #5 is one of the oldest firehouses in Pueblo. It sits on the same land as an earlier station that housed horse drawn fire engines! Station #5 is home to Advanced Life Support (ALS) engine #5 and reserve engine #17. It is manned by a Captain, Engineer (driver) and a Emergency Medical Officer. |

| Engine #5 is an Advanced Life Support (ALS) engine. It is a 1998 Pierce Dash, and carries 500 gallons of water, and can pump 1250 gallons-per-minute. It carries hose, various tools, advanced medical equipment, and the Jaws-of -Life. |
